Database Settings

Typically, when you sign up with a hosting service, you are provided with connection details for your database. The following settings should be updated in the web.config file with the information provided by your ISP.

Mail Settings

The following settings are used for mail configuration.  These should be setup during the initial application configuration in the web.config file by a site administrator.

Mail Settings Notes
smtp - deliveryMethod Network
smtp - from From Email address used to send system messages regarding account creation.
network - host This is typically the smtp mail server from your ISP.
network - userName Email account username.
network - password Email account password.
Membership Settings

The following are the default membership provider settings.

passwordAttemptWindow 10 Can be modified by the site administrator.
