Unit Event Assignments

Unit event relationships are assignments for an unit to an event. A unit will not be able to register without an assignment. The assignment also contains the campsite assignment for the event.

Unit Event Attribute Definition
UnitEventRelID Unique Identifier
OrganizationID Organization of the assignment.
CampID Camp of the assignment.
EventYear The year the event is held.
EventID Event of the assignment.
UnitID Unit of the assignment.
UnitCode Unit Code of the assignment.
RegionID Region of the assignment.
RegionCode Region Code of the assignment.
CampSiteID Campsite Assignment for the event and camp.
ActiveFlag Active Flag Yes or No
CreationDate The date the record was created.
CreatedBy The user that created the record.
LastUpdateDate The date the record was last updated.
LastUpdatedBy The user that last updated the record.
EventRegistrationStartDate The date and time when the unit can begin registering for courses.
EventRegistrationEndDate The end date and time for the registration period.
EventDisplayStartDate The date and time the event will be displayed in the session dashboard.
EventDisplayEndDate The end date and time when the event will be displayed in the session dashboard.

  • Navigation: Camp User - Unit Event
  • Query the assignment and make any necessary changes such as campsite.
  • Save the record.

  • A mass addition is a bulk import from a comma delimited file. Please review the Mass Addition notes before working with these files.
  • Download an unit event assignment template from the Templates section.
  • Fill out appropriate data. Ensure Insert or Update column is set to UPDATE.
  • Navigation: Camp User Menu Item - Other Items Menu - Mass Additions
  • Choose an Import Type of Unit Event Assignment
  • Click the Choose File Button. Navigate to your CSV file.
  • Click Upload File.
  • You should see a message that the file uploaded successfully.
  • It is recommended that you select Validate file first! This will run through the file without loading it and provide any errors, which should be resolved before the file is actually loaded.
  • Click the Process File Button
  • Each record will either be successfully processed or will display an error.
  • Resolve any errors, upload the file again, and validate again. Repeat until all errors are resolved.
  • Once all errors have been resolved, upload the file again, choose Load File, and click the Process File Button.
  • You should receive a success message for each record as it is updated.
  • If any errors are found, address the errors and be sure to load the errors only in your next upload.

  • Navigation: Camp User - Unit Event - Add Unit Event Relationship
  • Select an organization, camp, event year, and event.
  • Optionally, select a campsite.
  • Click the list button beside the unit code field, and select a unit.
  • Save the record.
